When the kiddos suggest a photo idea, you go for it! Especially when it comes out as cute as this. 💚

This is a PSA to get up early and do a sunrise photo session at the beach! Yes, it’s early. But the beach is usually empty, no traffic, and parking free. Plus, you get some pretty sunrise views!

These were the first two photos I took as the family walked a little ways in so I could take some photos on this spot. I loved the way the sun was shining on them, and the little girl looking back at me in the second photo was an unexpected surprise capture!

Cara surprised her mom with a weekend away, and a photoshoot of the two of them. Cara had contacted me back in January, about her June trip to the South Coast with her mom. Cara didn’t tell her mom about the photoshoot until the day before the shoot, when they were already here. I love that everything came together perfectly, and we had a nice quiet morning on the beach with just the three of us. What a perfect way to celebrate this beautiful mother daughter relationship. 💜
