Always a special moment when we get to share our wine with friends whose palates we respect.

We recently caught up with our friend Susan Lin, Master of Wine and president of the Asian Wine Association of America, while we were together for a concert at the Stanford Bing Concert Hall. In between music and conversation, we shared a taste of something we’re very excited about — our 2025 Grenache from Suisun Valley.

The wine was very well received. Even just a week after bottling, it’s already showing a beautiful full mouthfeel with lively acidity that keeps everything bright and balanced, especially for a ripe Grenache like this one. If it’s tasting this good now, we’re very excited to see how it continues to evolve over the next few months and into the year ahead.

Wine, like music, is best when shared with friends who care deeply about the craft and the community around it. Grateful for the evening, the conversation, and the chance to pour something we’re proud of. 🍷

Carabao is now pouring Sunset Cellars’ Solano County Garnacha, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. ❤️🍷🇵🇭

Garnacha/Grenache is a varietal the Carabao team feels uniquely complements the bold, expressive flavors of modern Filipino cuisine. Bringing a Solano County Garnacha to the table holds special meaning in a region with one of the largest Filipino communities in the state. Sunset Cellars, run by a husband-husband team in Suisun Valley, creates small-batch, hand-crafted wines, inspired by Asian flavors and the terroir of Suisun Valley.

We’re grateful for this partnership and can’t wait to showcase how thoughtfully crafted wine and inspired Filipino cooking shine even brighter together.

Spring is the season of awakening—and the same goes for our wines.
This week, our winemaking team is racking the young 2024 vintage off the fine lees: gently transferring the wine to a clean barrel, leaving sediment behind. This helps the wine clarify, breathe, and evolve with freshness and finesse.
It’s like a spring cleaning for the cellar—making room for bright new expressions to bloom.
