What are these little paintings you might ask? They’re small, ~2x3 in color studies. I finally got to explore my new paints from in a more focused way and want to share what I found. I bought these with my own money, so this is not a paid promotion.

And wow! Excellent pigment concentration, easy to re-wet, plenty of lovely variation. I used several paper types and had no issues. Brittany, the talented maker behind these, makes some very nice paints. My only reservation (and she and I have talked about this) would be that I prefer my paints in tubes, not pans.
