The Lady Mules hosted the Carterville Lady Lions in a non conference game Wednesday 4/1 at Southwest Park.

Alivia Rice took the mound for the Lady Mules against last season's 2A state runner up, Carterville. Rice struck out 8 and walked 5, in 6 innings, taking the loss 10-0.

The Lady Mules had a difficult time at bat with Caidence Phillips on the mound. Phillips struck out 12 and walked 0.

Serenity Dagg, Harlee Scott, and Kiersten Vaughan were the only 3 Lady Mules to reach base. Dagg reached on an error in the 5th. Vaughan and Scott both hit a double in the 6th. Scott was thrown out at home on Vaughan's double.
