Hello, IG! Wow… I feel like I’m already late to 2026 😆

The last quarter of the year has felt especially overwhelming for me these past couple of years. Maybe it’s perimenopause, maybe it’s just getting older—either way, it hits hard.

Every December, when that business renewal letter shows up, I pause. I reflect. I question.

Do I still love what I do?
Does it still challenge me?
Is there still space for my talent in this community?
Do I still find joy in making cakes?

Honestly… I’m not sure.

This may be my last year staying in business.

Sharing this feels vulnerable, but I want to be real about where I am. I also trust that God is not finished with me—even if the next season looks different than what I imagined.

Whether this chapter continues or quietly closes, I believe He’ll lead me where I’m meant to be, with purpose and peace.

I’m trusting God with what’s next.
