Cheek Farm

We have bulls for sale. Some ready for a herd of their own. Some little ones just weaning. Really would like to find them new homes. Let me know if you are interested. These are the two that need some heifers.

This evening I was reminded, why I bought Highlands 20 years ago. As I stood on my deck I noticed a calf laying against the yard fence. It was my newest (Yet unnamed baby). I walked toward him and so did his momma. A 15 year old cow, who has called Cheek Farm home for the last 14. The calf rose and turned toward mom. We all met together. I scratched DD behind her ears and petted her on the head. I assured her that her baby was perfectly safe with me. I knelt down and began to pet the calf. He took to it. He is so cute and so friendly. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures. I was having so much fun interacting that I didn't give it a thought. I promise there will be pictures soon.
