Best Friend Rodent Rescue is a no kill, 501 (C) (3) non-profit animal shelter and rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for neglected and abandoned small animals, primarily domestic rats, from other shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue hundreds of small animals
Just in all the way from Oregon!! Thank you Little Critter Crew for making this happen and for taking such amazing care of these gorgeous little bubs before we were lucky enough to get them transferred over to us! Yes these babies and their beautiful sweet momma will be available for adoption shortly!

Introducing...💗 The Woolentine’s Day Girls! 💗
These girls are being fostered in Seattle by one of our long-time volunteers and her family. These are some of the sweetest, most social girls they’ve ever met! They call them their “Woolies” and would love to keep them all if they could! 😂 These girls are about 9-10 months old and are all spayed. Due to their friendly, extremely outgoing natures, our fosters feel these girls are great first rats for a well-researched beginner adopter or the perfect affectionate rat for an experienced adopter.
These girls must go in pairs or trios - or octuplets if experienced and so inclined 😂 - our fosters certainly would love to! Adoption will take place in Seattle or could be organized at rescue HQ in Everett. When filling out the application, please indicate “Woolies” somewhere on the form. Once your application passes the first review, our foster will reach out to you with some more questions to make sure they are the right fit and complete the process.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going!
Recently life threw a proverbial curve ball straight to the eye of our amazing Owner and Founder!🦸🏼♀️
After dealing with an emergency surgery, reinforcements were a must and our awesome volunteers rallied to help her and the ratties. 🐀 🐁 🐀
It’s takes a village and here at Best Friend Rodent Rescue, our team members, seen or behind the scenes, all kick in to help.
How blessed we are to have each other in a world that is getting colder and more callous by the day; “Saving the world one rat at a time!!” 🐀 🐁 💚
