Providence General Foundation

We are pleased to announce that Mark Johnson has joined Providence General Foundation as the chief philanthropy officer. He brings a lifetime of knowledge working in philanthropy and is especially aligned with the Mission and work of Providence. He joins us from the Providence Hospice and Home Care Foundation of Snohomish County where he served as the director. Mark’s first day is today, so help us welcome him to the team. Five days to go until Pink Ribbon Row! Are you ready? On Sunday, Sept 21 at Gas Works Park in Seattle, pink-costumed crews will row on Lake Union in a fun and friendly competition. The event is in its 26th year, raising funds for breast cancer detection, screening and diagnosis, often benefiting our local Providence Comprehensive Breast Center. Visit booths and cheer on the crews. VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED! Are you able to help? Races begin at 7:30 a.m. and there are many open spots.
