These are my dress shoes at the end of the year from about 15 years ago when I was visiting 4-6 venues a day and playing events at night. People don’t realize how much work goes into owning and running a business. I love the grind and daily fight to make it all work. While so much of my marketing now is online, in 2025 I plan on going back to adding time meeting with venues, planners and vendors face to face. Anyone know a good shoe store? Last night we played for Laurie Children’s Hospital fundraising event, Cocktails for a Cause. This was the 9th year we’ve performed. The raised over $100,000 for research of Childhood diseases.
