Dearborn Observatory
Part of Northwestern University's Physics and Astronomy Department, the Dearborn Observatory houses what was at one time the largest refracting telescope in the world (having 18.5-inch Alvan Clark optics). Nearly every Friday evening, the Dearborn is open to the public for free viewing sessions with the historic telescope. Visit https://physics.northwestern.edu/about/dearborn-observatory/index.html for more information.
