Baseball Scoutz
This week fall baseball has started at most colleges. The 1st thing I am seeing across my feed is these college teams having to raise money to field their programs. There is nothing wrong with the request however I find it amazing from an administrative position.
If I am a college especially private with higher tuition. We as a college have decided to implement intercollegiate sports. How do I justify not having the funding to operate a sports program in a professional manner without my student athletes having to go out and raise money like a high school program or a youth team?
Now I understand selling season tickets, signage, in game promotions and so on however to have kids out selling products or services to me shows a lack of institutional organization and planning. Not only do you want the kids to pay tuition (private school very expensive), books, fees, housing, meals etc. now you also want them to be lead cookie dough salesman and so on. Seems to me these schools need to operate like a minor league team, hire a staff that goes out to sell the product, market the product and execute branding in all sports in order to raise appropriate funds.
It's just a pet peeve to me that we are running some levels of college athletics like the local little league operation. It starts in the President's office and trickles down to the AD's office. Seems like a real lack of effort at the top to me.

HS Players with a full landscape of Video and Data are more likely to be recruited. College Coaches have 1,000's of transfers with data/video, 1,000's of JC players with data/video. HS programs have not had that ability until now. The Summer Baseball League will begin in Georgia in June 2026 with prominent HS programs in the State hosting Regional Divisions. GA Powers like Wayne Co, Loganville, Greenbrier, Habersham Central and others will host Division Play with full livestream and data command centers at each location. Players in the league will have a huge advantage in recruiting and..... coaches will have access to their players data and video for player development. It's a win/win for both players and programs to gain an edge on the competition. DM for more information on how you can participate. The league will consist of Upperclass/Varsity and JV Divisions. The League will host Divisions in:
Augusta
Savannah
SE GA
South GA
Central GA
East GA
S Atl
W. GA
NE Mountain
NW
Each Division will have 8 Teams. The JV Division will play inside the Division with possible crossover games. The Varsity Division will play a crossover schedule with other Divisions. Some of the States Top Power Programs are committed to join the league. The Cape Cod of HS Baseball has arrived. June 1st 2026 will be opening Day. In 2027 the league will expand to Florida and the Carolina's. In 2028 the league will add Texas, Arizona, California, Gulf Coast, Tennessee. Now HS players will have the opportunity to get valuable data and video along with great competition. The League will distribute data to every college in the nation.
