I was just accused of wanting to homestead on our non-profits land, that that is what is really behind our fundraising...
My family, my friends, and the bulk of my work is in the valley. Will I temporarily be out there during development? Yes. Will I live out there? No.
Once development is complete we will hire a camp host or two to watch and manage the campground, community events, and support services we will offer.
I want to remind everyone that thoughts and feelings are not facts. Having a "feeling" that someone wants to do something other than what they are saying isn't based on facts.
Rumors from others is not evidence.
Conjecture is not a proven series of events.
Please think critically before you slander a person working to build something positive for their community.
Picture of me building my vision using the sims software 🤣 for Facebook tax
Yup I said what I said.
We have mastered the sugar cookie! But the demand isn't to the point where we can have them in stock all the time. We have blueberry and vanilla, which should we keep stocked?

Edit- this is NOT AI content, I have no idea why Facebook put that on this post 😭
Hi everyone, my name is Brittany.
I recently turned 37 years old, and for my birthday I'm asking people to help support a dream that is much bigger than me.
I am a veteran, a political advocate, and a reconnecting Indigenous woman of Patawomeck descent. While I have worked to advocate for my community, this particular project began in the summer of 2025 when The Ravens Party acquired 10 acres in Christmas Valley, Oregon. Since then, I have been working toward turning that land into something meaningful for future generations.
Through The Ravens Party, a state-registered Oregon nonprofit, we are working to develop the property into an Indigenous campground and community space that serves both Indigenous people and the public.
Located near the sand dunes, Fort Rock, the Lost Forest, Hole-in-the-Ground, and other incredible destinations, the property has the potential to become a place for connection, healing, culture, recreation, and opportunity.
Our vision includes:
Public camping spaces
Camping spaces for Indigenous community members
Safe transitional living spaces for Indigenous people who need a place to land while rebuilding, healing, and moving forward
Indigenous markets and vendor opportunities
Powwow, gathering, and ceremony spaces
Restorative agriculture projects
Community spaces dedicated to culture, education, connection, and wellness
Many people know me through my fry bread. Every fry bread sold has helped support our nonprofit and our 10 acre property. Those sales have helped us make progress, but they are not enough to fully develop the land and bring this vision to life.
Since I just turned 37, I thought it would be fun to tie this fundraiser to my age. If you'd like to participate, consider contributing 3, 7, 37, or 73 in support of this project. Our goal is to raise 30,000 to begin the next phase of development, but every contribution helps move us closer.
Donations can be sent through:
PayPal: [email protected]
Venmo or Chime: 541-515-5131
We're also looking for volunteers interested in helping with our micro fry bread and micro thrift store locations in Gresham, as well as volunteers who would like to help on the land as development begins.
If you're unable to contribute, sharing this post is a huge help and allows more people to learn about our vision.
Thank you for supporting Indigenous led community spaces and helping us create something that can serve people for generations to come. Every share, donation, volunteer hour, and word of encouragement helps move this dream forward.
Brittany

Please do not donate stained, ripped, broken, heavily worn, or unwashed items.
Just because our thrift store sells most items for $1 does not mean we will put damaged clothing on our shelves. Low-income families deserve quality, dignity, and choice, not items that should have been discarded or given away as rags.
Children who wear stained or damaged clothing can face embarrassment and bullying. Our goal is to provide affordable clothing that people can feel good wearing, not simply whatever is handed to us.
We are a small nonprofit thrift store serving the Native community. We do not have a washer and dryer, and we ask that all clothing be washed, inspected, and ready to wear before it is donated.
Please do not donate:
- Clothing with stains, holes, tears, or excessive wear
- Dirty or unwashed items
- Clothing with strong odors, mold, or insect infestations
- Socks, underwear, or bras
We sell items for $1. We do not have the budget to spend time and money laundering, repairing, or disposing of large amounts of unusable clothing.
Please don't pull old boxes out of storage and drop them off without checking them first. Take a few minutes to go through the contents and make sure the items are clean, in good condition, and suitable for someone to wear immediately.
What has been most disappointing is seeing the condition of some items that were originally intended for families affected by disasters and fires. People who have lost everything deserve quality clothing and basic dignity. They deserve our best efforts, not the items we couldn't be bothered to sort through first.
Currently, about half of the clothing we receive, both from redirected donations and direct donations, cannot be placed on our shelves. That creates extra work, extra disposal costs, and less space for items that could genuinely help someone.
Thrift stores, nonprofits, and clothing closets are not dumping grounds for unwanted items. Donations should be given with the same care and respect you would hope to receive if you were the one in need.
Please help us serve our community by donating clean, quality items that you would feel comfortable giving to a friend or family member.
Also, if you know of an organization in the Gresham area that can regularly pick up clothing we cannot sell or distribute, please send us a message. We would much rather see usable materials reused or recycled than sent to a landfill.
Also, it's just me sorting and running our Frybread spot and the thrift store, as well as developing the community land. Pre-sorting and washing your donations before bringing them helps a ton!
Your donation can mean the world of difference for this project!!!
Thank you to everyone that came out to the car show! And thank you for the cars and vendors that showed up for community! **kICE
This is the 10 acres that The Ravens Party owns, a non-profit dedicated to creating inter-tribal safe spaces for community gatherings and more. We want to develop this 10 acres into an indigenous campground. But we need your help! We cannot develop it until it is paid off, our goal is to raise 30k to pay it off and start developing this amazing location. If you can donate even a dollar, we have PayPal which is in our bio, or you can come on down to Ravens Frybread on Gresham Oregon to buy some Frybread to support us! Thank you!
