Let the healing begin! Rotator cuff surgery was yesterday and I’m so glad to be able to get this over with! Starting this day with pain meds and breakfast of champions from the most amazing man ever. 💕 I’m also incredibly grateful for all my supportive and PATIENT clients. This will definitely be a setback and the chance to once again practice balance and a “kinder to my body” pace!

Sappy post here… this jar of pickles represents so much about my life. Many family memories and a way of life learned from my grandma and my mom. Cooking, preserving, gardening, feeding people, family time together. Today my girls and I did what we try to do every year. Make pickles. It’s really not hard, but they are busy moms with busy boys and I know it’s a sacrifice to find a day. But oh my goodness do we have fun while the boys run the property and play… we stuff jars and catch up on life. I’m so sad that this year the one picture I have is this one. But my heart is so full of boys laughing, girl talk, the familiar scent of dill and GARLIC. Thank you Gramma Opal for leaving us with your legacy of preserving food. I know you would be proud of your girls and oh you would love these boys!
