A new term means new opportunities to get together and have some fun! Last week, CLF Network members and guests brought some board games and lots of laughs to Claim 52 Brewing for a night of friendly competition.
Our first social of the term is always a great way to meet new friends in a relaxing atmosphere and learn about all the events and activities we have planned for the second half of the year. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Game Night; we'll bring more board games out for another one soon!
One of our favorite events, our Summer Installation Party with CLF Network, Yardy, and WOW Hall! is happening THIS Friday, and we're so excited to celebrate our incoming board and congratulate our outgoing board for all their hard work. We also just had our grant presentation meeting, and we'll be sharing tons of inspiring photos from that soon!
Want to learn more about what we do? Want to stop by an event and meet some incredible people? Message us today!

🎉 Big events this weekend with CLF Network!
First, our members prepped two sets of tickets for Banana Pen, and then set up our booth for Pride!
We'll be at our usual spot at Autzen Stadium to park your bikes, bags, and strollers so you can enjoy the Savannah Bananas games both Saturday and Sunday! $5 per item, and all proceeds go back to kids in the community. We'll be onsite Saturday from 11:30am to 30 minutes after the game ends, and Sunday from 7:45am to 30 minutes after the game ends. 🍌
We'll also be at this year's Pride celebration, near the community stage, Saturday from 11am to 7pm. Come find us, spin the wheel, and win some amazing prizes AND a chance to win a one-of-a-kind raffle basket! 🌈
Thank you to our sponsors for supporting these big events; we'll highlight the amazing partners we have in our next event posts. We love when the community comes together to celebrate!
Looking to volunteer and make some incredible friends? Spend a few hours with us at Banana Pen this weekend!

Join us in celebrating Asher Alexander for CLF Network's Member Spotlight! ⭐️
❓ Why did you join CLF Network?
✔️ My initial interest stemmed from my love of nonprofit work and the desire to better my community in some way, but what really convinced me to join was the welcoming atmosphere.
❓ What is something different about CLF Network than other groups you've been a part of?
✔️ The sense of community. Almost everyone knows your name, and if someone doesn't they're always quick to ask. As an introvert, I can't think of a better way to branch out than by joining a group intent on building genuine connections while striving towards a common goal.
❓ What is your favorite project in the Network and why?
✔️ This might be cheating (it is), but my TWO favorite projects are Giving Tree and Children's Shopping Spree. As someone who benefitted from very similar programs while growing up, being in the position to provide that same relief to families in the community is an immense privilege.
❓ What do you do for work? Any recent highlights at work?
✔️ I've worked at Adventure Children's Museum for about five years now. Just this past year I was promoted from Assistant Manager to Visitor Services Manager, so it's been very exciting getting to grow into my new role and learn from the opportunities that have been presented to me.
❓ What are some of your hobbies outside of CLF Network?
✔️ Outside of the museum and the Network, you can either find me at home with my beautiful wife and our animals, or I'm playing trumpet for the Eugene Springfield Community Orchestra.
Asher's creativity has resulted in two sold-out Paint & Sip fundraisers for the Network in the two years he's been a member! He's already planning ahead for the next one. 🎨
In the meantime, join us for our Beginner-Friendly Volleyball Social!
