I create beautiful pieces of art from items that are vintage, missing pieces or parts or ready to be thrown out.

This one-of-a-kind piece starts with a 6x6 cradled board, layered with a mosaic of torn vintage Bible and dictionary pages—many in Spanish—alongside ethereal prayers on delicate rice paper.

Adorned with vintage curiosities and shimmering accents, each element tells a captivating story of its own.

Playing in my journal.

My awesome neice turned me in to alcohol markers. I wasn’t sure I was going to like them. I don’t like them, I LOVE them! I love the colors and how the blend on paper. They are so fun. Will be using them more!

Pumpkin spice is nice… but Frida with a spooky crown of flowers? Now that’s magic. 🎃💐💀
I created a small batch of Día de los Mu***os Fridas, each painted on gallery canvas and collaged with vintage Spanish book pages, rice paper quotes, and vibrant handmade flowers. No two are alike, and each one carries Frida’s fiery spirit.
Some are still available—wander over to ranchocollective.com and click “tienda” to see them. Support a small artist this season and bring home a little Frida flair instead of just another latte. 🌹✨

Do you like journaling?
I’ve always loved it—back when it started as “Dear Diary…” entries to now, where it’s more of an illustrated journey. Over the years, my journals have evolved from little lock-and-key books to beautiful leather-bound ones, and now to something more rustic and personal.
Lately, I’ve been creating my own journals—starting with vintage tins filled with watercolor paper. They’re perfect for painting a tiny scene, jotting down a special thought, or pressing a delicate flower from a favorite trip.
I’ll be sharing my first batch of tin journals soon—stay tuned!
