Decent tire clearance and one of the best all arounder model, makes the Sequoia one of the gems for those who know. These were built by some of the best frame builders of the era as well as designed by the very best in Portland Oregon!

Introduced in 1984, the original Fuso frame had an enamel head badge, and at the time was simply a “Fuso,” there was only one model. I now refer to this frame as the “First Generation” Fuso. -Moulton

Laurent Fignon, riding for the Renault-Elf-Gitane team in 1984, achieved significant success, including winning the 1984 Tour de France. He also secured victories in several stages of the race, notes Pro Cycling Stats.
The Renault team, which Gitane bicycles supplied, also claimed victory in the team classification at the 1984 Tour de France.
