I had a great recording session recently at Don Latarski’s studio here in Eugene. I’m two songs closer to having an album finished! I have one more session lined up, and hope to get everything finished just in time for release at the Tenor Guitar Gathering in Astoria, May 30-31st. It’s time to start figuring out album art - YIKES! and YAY!

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for fifteen years, since the release of my first solo album Carolan’s Welcome in 2010. It’s exhilarating to be making this dream a reality. I can’t wait to have some new material out there!

If you are looking for a weekend getaway, please join me at the Tenor Guitar Gathering in Astoria. It’s a lovely festival, brimming with characters and talent from far and wide. There will be workshops, radio shows, evening concerts, and jam sessions into the wee hours. I look forward to reconnecting with my music friends there, but it would be really fun to see some familiar faces from Eugene (and elsewhere) too!
