Last week, I had the privilege of representing Eugene REALTORS® in Washington, D.C. as a Federal Political Coordinator, advocating for policies that support housing affordability and expand opportunities for homeownership.

I was proud to help promote the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which focuses on increasing housing supply, streamlining the building process, modernizing manufactured housing, and supporting practical solutions to make housing more accessible.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to advocate on behalf of REALTORS®, our clients, and our communities. Thank you to Eugene REALTORS® for the opportunity to represent our industry at the federal level.

This important legislation is focused on increasing the supply of housing by streamlining permitting and environmental reviews for housing projects, modernizing manufactured housing rules to help reduce costs, restricting large institutional investors from buying additional single-family homes above certain thresholds, and expanding and updating affordable housing programs.
