This video is from last year, when we left Silver Moon Inn at 4:15 a.m. to hike to Lake Haiyaha. It was an early alarm, but watching the sunrise over the mountains made every step worth it. ✨
Lake Haiyaha has become one of the park’s most popular hikes, and for good reason. If you’re planning to visit, heading into the Bear Lake Corridor before the timed entry reservation period begins at 5:00 a.m. is a great way to enjoy a quieter trail and experience the magic of the mountains at sunrise.
