🤣MY BRIDES ARE ELITE COMEDIANS LOL!!🤣

One of my brides once sent me the funniest Photoshop edits after seeing the original frame of her first kiss. In the photo, her Maid of Honor had heroically stepped in like a ninja to try to move the officiant out of the shot. Truly the kind of supportive energy we love to see 😂

Of course, the final gallery she received was the polished version with the officiant beautifully removed. Huge shout out to my friend who helped me remove both the officiant and the Maid of Honor from the frame. Back then AI editing was not a thing and that level of magic was definitely not something I could pull off on my own.

But seeing the original moment gave us a good laugh because it reminded me of a little secret most guests do not know!

Dear amazing Maids of Honor who love your bride deeply and want to help…The best way to help during the first kiss is actually to stay exactly where you are.

Let the officiant stay in the middle Let the moment happen naturally. Trust your photographer!

Why? Because it is much easier for us to quietly remove one stationary officiant than it is to remove a surprise guest sliding into frame like an action movie scene.

No one will ever know. Magic!

Moments like this are also why I love working with couples who have a great sense of humor. Weddings are full of beautiful, emotional, and sometimes hilariously unexpected moments. The couples who can laugh at them end up with the best memories.

And for the record…this bride laughed harder than anyone!
