Today, ESCOKIDOS joined community partners and dignitaries in celebrating 2026 Citizens of Courage Awards, hosted by San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan and her team at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office. This event is an annual opportunity to recognize individual agents of change making a difference every day, and building resilient communities with every action. We are proud to be a community collaborator with One Safe Place: San Diego County Family Justice Centers, a one-stop resource hub. One Safe Place, in collaboration with +50 community partners is a community resource providing essential services addressing , domestic violence/family violence, human trafficking, elder abuse and so much more. The heart of our shared vision is focused on being a resource at every stage of healing, with an emphasis on justice and hope. Every day, we collectively work towards creating safer, healthier communities for our kiddos to thrive with child abuse prevention advocacy and services, and skills.
