Gannon Computer and Information Science

Gannon University had the honor of hosting Steel City Codes Erie Chapter's Coding Camp from June 21st-25th in Zurn Science Center! Local 4th-8th graders learned the fundamentals of Java and Python from area high school volunteers.

Steel City Codes is a non-profit organization offering free peer-to-peer computer science after-school programs, summer camps, and hackathons for elementary and middle school students.

Gannon Student Efe Ilalokhoin, a software engineering junior, was awarded a €2,100 Baden-Wurtemburg scholarship.
