Breaking many years or even decades of bad living patterns can hardly be achieved in a 21-28 day residential program, or even a 90 day extended stay. This is the first of it's kind for the Erie area. While some recovery houses in other areas are run for purely profit, with cramped quarters and substandard practices, RecovErie houses will be PARR (Pennsylvania Association of Recovery Residences) certified, and are planning to turn 100% of any profits into getting more houses until the need is met to combat the epidemic that is ravaging our community and our country right now. By providing a smoother, more structured transition into society, and creating more distance from old ways of thinking and behaving, getting out of unhealthy environments we can help more people cross over the tipping point where they can finally break free from their destructive cycles.
