Hey brides/grooms- we’re booking up really early this year. This is great when it comes to the (I n c r e d I b l e) satisfaction of me adding dates to my big fat desk calendar but it’s starting to scare me that some of you might miss out if you haven’t thought about booking our “garden to glass” craft cocktail & mobile bar services for your wedding yet!

Usually bartenders don’t have to be booked quite this early, but since we have a pretty unique vibe going on, we are booking six months to a year in advance. There truly is something so special about beautiful old trophies. It's always fun to read the inscriptions and find out what accomplishments they represented and imagine the wonderful sense of history in each piece.

Trophies are not only beautiful on their own, they’re a great addition for a wedding reception for holding flowers, moss, feathers, fruit antlers and even all on their own.

With my peonies in full bloom I couldn't resist pulling this beauty out of inventory to show them off.

I first fell in love with beautiful china when I received one of my Grandma Myrtle's china sets, Beaumont by Noritake. It had been a wedding gift when she married my Grandpa Skagen.
I love the hand painted yellow and black edge with the dainty blue ribbon with green garland and cream band. It is the attention to detail that make these pieces timeless beauties. Each and every plate, dish, gravy boat or sugar bowl is a piece of artwork and it's these details that make each piece unique. I love these dishes, not because they are valuable, but because they remind me of my Grandma Myrtle and all the special occasions growing up that were held at her home with aunts, uncles and our many cousins.

Just remember that making others feel welcomed doesn’t require digging out your fine china, we need to recognize that sometimes our friends and families and those special occasions are worth the extra effort.
