Many municipalities throughout Colorado (including Fountain and others) require contractors and salespeople to obtain a solicitation permit before going door-to-door. As a homeowner, you have the right to ask for those permits and report individuals who are not following local regulations.

At BRG Builds, we don't rely on aggressive door knocking or high-pressure sales tactics. Instead, we focus on education, inspections, and helping homeowners make informed decisions on their timeline.

One of the biggest misconceptions after a hailstorm is that you need to make an immediate decision. In most cases, homeowners have anywhere from 6–12 months (sometimes longer, depending on their insurance carrier) to file a claim and complete necessary repairs. If your roof isn't actively leaking or your home hasn't suffered emergency damage, take the time to gather information, ask questions, and choose a contractor you trust.

A reputable contractor should never pressure you into signing paperwork at your front door.

Unless your roof is leaking, and it can’t be repaired or tarped, you do NOT have to rush to do anything!
Depending on your insurance carrier, you have about a year to file a claim (but make sure to call your agent to find out your timeline based on your carrier)
