Praise in Color

🧵 Early morning sewing project. Just wanted to release a little creativity with the quiet house and my coffee. ☕ Don't forget to take time to do what you love. Even if only for a little bit. 😍🫶 I definitely will be making more ornaments. Plus I get to practice my embroidery. 🪡

It's amazing how easily discouraged one can get by not living up the expectations you've set for yourself in your mind. It's a real struggle to remind yourself that some days you will be tired. Some days you won't finish the project. And guess what? That's ok. It's not failure. It's still progress. Failure would be to let your self feel that discouragement and lose faith in yourself or the mission. Don't let the enemy rob you of your gratitude for the day and disrupt the peace of the evening.

I will go read my Bible this evening, instead of being upset I didn't do it earlier. Remember. It's ok. Struggle is not failure. It's human. 🙌 This is part of the reconnect- yourself path. Start to notice when you are hard on yourself and change the tune. Negative thoughts are never from God. So don't allow them to come from you either!
