To my incredible family at Swami's,

​As the calendar turns toward Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on the things that truly enrich our lives. For me, the top of that list is the community we’ve built right here, by the cliffs and on the waves of Swami’s.

​I want to extend my deepest, most sincere thanks to each and every one of you, the members of this amazing club. When I look out at the lineup, I don't just see surfers; I see friends, mentors, and the most supportive crew imaginable.

​It’s easy to focus on the perfect swell or the glassy morning, but the true magic happens when we’re sitting out there together. Sharing a laugh while waiting for a set, offering a tip on a new board, or simply shouting words of encouragement when someone is charging a big one. Those moments of camaraderie, connection, and mutual respect are the best gifts the ocean, and this club can give.

​Thank you for being the consistent, positive energy that makes every paddle-out feel like coming home. Whether you were the person who told me to grab the next wave, the one who kept the stoke high on a flat day, or the one who always has a funny story in the parking lot, your presence makes this club irreplaceable.

​May your holiday be filled with perfect waves (even if only in your dreams!), great food, and quality time with your loved ones. I am profoundly grateful to be part of the Swami’s legacy alongside all of you.

Throwback to 1992...Swamis Club awarded club members, Gayle and Greg Filtzer, the "Survivors of the Year" award after they moved from California to Kauai and survived Hurricane Iniki. Gayle said she now lives in Mission Viejo but is proud to say that she still has her plaque. Thanks for sharing Gayle!

Another great club holiday party! It was so nice to see so many long timers as well as so many new members. The Swamis Family celebrated with lots of food, good music, awards, raffle winners and some wonderful donations to the Alacron Family. Thanks to everyone who participated in all of our events this year especially all those who volunteered their time. Wishing everyone lots of fun surf and a healthy winter.
