Busy day yesterday! Installed switch and wiring for a new chandelier where there wasn’t any fixture before….Installed two all new 240V/50A receptacles and circuits for car chargers….then responded to an emergency call for a non-licensed electricians attempt at wiring circuits.

Customer called about intermittent power and lighting issues and I found incorrect breaker had been installed. Due to it not being the correct breaker for the panel the “electrician” who installed it decided to break away the housing to make it fit along with improper wiring. Due to this, serious arc faulting occurred leading to breaker failure, bus bar damage and a very dangerous situation.
