Broyco Botanical Study No. 001.

I'm hoping this will be a first of a long series. Originally this started as an idea for an illustration for a client. As it happens sometimes, the client moved a different direction, but the idea remained, rattling around in my head. I hate to see work lost, but it doesn't mean we always have to let it go. Obviously these plants are not native to Idaho, but as we get out and explore the land around our new home, this series will morph.

I think I might rework this into something, but I can relate to feeling up to your neck. Maybe I’ll see what I’m looking for if I just open my eyes.

Not my best. I guess sketchbooks are for getting a little uncomfortable and out of your depth.
