Let's talk about progressive overload โคต๏ธ

When it comes to strength training, progressive overload is the concept of increasing your weight gradually over time in order to strengthen your muscles.

If you used the same weight and did the same workout every week, you're not going to see any progress because your body will start to adapt.

Progressive overload is NOT just for people who want to bulk. It is a technique that should be used no matter what your fitness goals are because gaining muscle mass will also help you shed fat which helps you get that "toned" look many people aim for.

Here are a few ways to achieve progressive overload:

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Increase the number of reps
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Decrease your rest period
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Change the intensity (scroll back to find previous posts about tempo)
