Meet the Wards! Will and Kennedi Ward were born and raised in Ellijay, and now they’re raising their own family here! With their two boys, Thurman and Wyatt, they’ve built a life rooted in family, faith, and community. Will runs Ward Home Builders, creating homes for local families, while Kennedi works as an ER nurse and loves spending time in her garden. They both appreciate the small-town feel of Ellijay and the connections that make it special.

Whether it’s Will helping families settle into their dream homes or Kennedi growing fresh produce with hopes of starting a farm stand, the Wards love giving back. They stay active in First Baptist Ellijay and enjoy all the little things that make this town feel like home. Get to know more about their story in this month’s feature!
