I captured this photo several years ago at the annual Memorial Day ceremony, held at the Veterans Memorial in Yadkin County Park. It’s still one of my favorites and always makes me pause. Says it all; Faith, Freedom, and Love of Country. Thankful and forever grateful today and everyday for those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our great Nation.

Another Yadkin Valley Wine Festival in the books! It was a great day of music, wine vendors, and a special tribute in memory of longtime Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce. Execuctive Director, David Steelman. Perfect weather, fun and fellowship! Thank you to the many volunteers that make it happen, and Danny Hall who served as emcee for the day!
