Omega Psi Omega is an official chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Chartered on December 16, 2017, Omega Psi Omega is based in Elizabeth, New Jersey. We serve that city, as well as other cities and towns in the northeastern region of Union County, i.e. Rahway, Elizabeth, Union, Roselle and Linden. The objectives of the chapter are the following:

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It is a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage healing within our communities.

Join the Omega Psi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® for an important and timely Mental Health Awareness Workshop presented by Dr. Moses McKenzie, Jr. This workshop will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20th.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men, and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Theirs and their families’ sacrifices secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their courage will never be forgotten.

As Brigadier General Edith P. Mitchell reminds us, “Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.”

This Memorial Day, we honor our fallen heroes with gratitude, reflection, and respect.
