NOTES: Detwiler, a sophomore, cracked 1:04 (1:03.57) for the first time to finish sixth in the PIAA Class AAA 100 breaststroke. Detwiler was seeded 10th entering the timed finals and moved past four swimmers for her first state medal. ... Detwiler finished fifth in the WPIAL breaststroke and 10th in the 200 IM. ... Kostelnik, a senior, capped her career with WPIAL Class AAA medals in the 500 freestyle (fourth) and 200 freestyle (seventh). ... Shawna Boden’s young Lady Warriors won the Section 6-AA title and six WPIAL medals. ... Local swimmers won an impressive 14 medals in the WPIAL Class AA Championship and four more in the Class AAA meet. ... Mount Pleasant’s Heather Gardner won Class AA silver medals in both the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke ... McClain, another freshman, also won two WPIAL Class AA medals, finishing fourth in the 500 freestyle and seventh in the 200 freestyle. ... Vogt won the silver medal in the WPIAL Class AA diving finals. ... Other Class AA swimmers who won medals were Wilhelm (4, diving), Vasko (5, diving) and Toth (4, 100 backstroke), Carei (8, diving), and Noll (7, 100 backstroke). ...
