Anyone familiar with beehive ovens? Swipe to see the inside. We know the top part was used for cooking, but the bottom is a very long narrow box. It’s bigger than it appears in the photo. What is the bottom box for?

! Completing a room feels so good. In this process there are so many details before you can call a room “finished” and the final stretch is the hardest. So many times I want to jump into another “new” and more exciting project instead of tending to the tiny annoying details of the one we’re currently working on that seems like it’s never going to end. Going back to the before photos gives us some motivation because this has been one long and hard ass journey. One that has tested our whole family, challenged our abilities to work together and focus, and one that I’ve wanted to give up on many times. The biggest lesson lately has been stay positive and FOCUS on one project at a time until it’s FULLY complete and then acknowledge our hard work, which acts as fuel to keep going.
