Intensive English Program at Elgin Community College

um of 1 semester, our program gives you the opportunity to move or enter the program every 4 weeks! This lets students who are merely refreshing their skills to move through quickly. The module format allows you to focus on the skills you need the most and in an order that builds. In addition, you get your choice of electives which change every four weeks! The first step is to take the computer based placement test. The program offers a community atmosphere that fosters communication, learning and fun as students progress in their skills, make friends and engage in opportunities to practice and field trips to explore Chicago and the local area.
