Local students are getting a major boost this school year thanks to a generous community partnership. The Masonic Home of Missouri, in collaboration with Hickory Hill Masonic Lodge No. 211, has presented a check for $3,000 to the Eldon School District to help eliminate outstanding school meal balances.

The donation is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that no child in the community goes hungry or faces the stress of school lunch debt.

The $3,000 contribution was made possible through a joint funding initiative that maximizes the impact of local charitable giving. The breakdown of the donation includes:

$1,000 from the members of Hickory Hill Masonic Lodge No. 211.

$2,000 from the Masonic Home of Missouri through their partnership matching program.

By leveraging the state organization's matching funds, the local lodge was able to triple their initial contribution, providing a significant relief fund for Eldon families struggling to keep up with school meal costs.
