RESIDENTS OF BALDWIN COUNTY

IF YOU LIVE IN AN UNINCORPORATED AREA YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION !

The following question will be on your ballot November 8th.

Should the provision of Act No. 2005-200 (Ala. Code 11-3A-1 et seq.) apply in Baldwin County ?

If you vote yes,the BALDWIN COUNTY COMMISSION will be authorized to adopt ordinances on public welfare,health and safety issues related to the abatement of weeds , the control of animals , the control of litter , the control of junkyards,and the abatement of noise nuisances, unsanitary sewage, or pollution.

A 4 person commission will be able to regulate people and property even in unincorporated areas of Baldwin County.
The draw of “ living in the county “, is the freedom that comes from being in an unincorporated area ! Now the people’s ability to freely enjoy their property and life in the county is being threatened by the Baldwin County Commission.

The rural areas of Baldwin County are not Fairhope ,Foley, or Gulf Shores. We don’t need the County Commission acting as a Glorified Homeowners’ Association for every resident outside the city limits .

If you live outside the city limits in Baldwin County , VOTE NO on the local referendum November 8th.
