I wanted to make a quick note regarding the OBN’s newly published paper.

I’ve barely made it into the document and I already know there’s zero objectivity in the document and that it was crafted to meet a specific law enforcement agenda rather than proving a legitimate, objective assessment of the current situation which is what is actually needed.

Why? Because the entire document is based on inaccurate data.

Garbage in, garbage out.

First, they make the assumption the average joint contains .32 grams of cannabis. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Let me know where I can find a preroll that small. Lil Cavi maybe? And those are infused. That number is so inaccurate it’s mind boggling.

Second, they state the average grower produces thousands of pounds each year but use 1000 pounds as the number.

I don’t know the number, but I can tell you that number is nowhere close. There are massive outdoor operations that are going to skew the averages however they shouldn’t need to estimate.

Legal operations are required to submit monthly reports. Why are those numbers not mentioned?
I understand they’re attempting to overstate production but why wouldn’t they at least mention them when they are readily available?

Third, they are not taking into account the amount of cannabis that is used in processing to make distillate, etc.

Lastly, they’re making an inaccurate assumption that each cannabis patient is only consuming 1 .32 gram joint per day.

I certainly support law enforcement efforts in the state, and I want all illegal activity to be eliminated and the criminals to be punished, but I’m always going to speak plainly and openly when something this blatantly manipulating and patently false is produced on behalf of the state.

I believe this document was created solely for the purpose of gaining additional funding, and resources for the OBN, and state agencies, and to justify further increases in licenses and fees on businesses and taxes on its citizens.

I will read the entire document and further comment if necessary, but it seems blatantly obvious that this is document was written with a purpose and statistics were generated to support that purpose.

The agency should be ashamed and the people should be angry.

I will state again, we fully support law enforcement at every level and always will. I’m a back the blue guy and that will never change. But I won’t silently allow the public to be manipulated for an agenda.

The OBN should be working hard to be honest, and transparent. This is anything but…

Long overdue facility update!

I will begin starting at least once a week progress updates at the end of this week.

We hope to have water lines ran and start moving equipment in by Thursday.

That will be a big day! Can’t wait!

Things are moving sooooo slow, but we should have the building completed 3 weeks from today. It will have been almost a year to the date from when we first started this insane journey.

So many things have gone wrong. Literally nothing has gone smoothly, but we are fighting ahead and there's light at the end of the tunnel!
