Hey everyone...I know it has been awhile! However, Izzy is still waiting for her kidney and now she has some more procedures that need to be done. This Friday, she is having to get another PET scan and it costs her several hundred dollars out of pocket to get it and it is required. Update: Izzy has been on the transplant list for over a year now and is having to redo all of the medical procedures that she had to do to get on the list. She has to do them to keep her place on the transplant list. That being said, all of these procedures cost her out-of-pocket for copays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
