It's been a while since I did a self-portrait session. 📸 Complete with some behind the scenes goofiness lol!

What moves you? What captivates you? From what has defined you to this point to what you may be feeling at a moment in time. In a world full of instant likes and gratification, the acknowledgment of one's social media posts is only a small part of what you see and feel, what others see and feel. What do people say when they see you, when they message or call you? How do they act and feel around you? Those who know who you are, those who appreciate you, will show it in their own way. Whether through a simple like, a message, or time spent together. Be who you are, do and share the things that make you happy, surround yourself with those who appreciate you and care about you. The likes, the laughs, and the love will come. It's a complex balance to do the things you love, what makes you happy, and brings that to others. In doing more for yourself, what you love, those around you will be happy because you are happy.

I wrote this 4 years ago. As the years go by, I see and feel the love and confidence in myself even more. I know the love and happiness I bring to those around me and the love and happiness y'all bring to me. Go into this amazing new year more confident and full of love and happiness. Watch what unfolds. The new year starts now...
