Hammer curls use a neutral grip (palms facing each other), which still trains the biceps while bringing in more help from the brachialis and forearms.
👉 The brachialis sits underneath the biceps, between the biceps and triceps, and plays a big role in elbow flexion and overall arm structure.
Benefits of hammer curls include:
• Building overall arm strength
• Contributes to arm tone, size, and shape
• Improves grip and forearm involvement
• Often easier on the elbows and wrists
