I'm working very hard to grow into my full vision of wonder&wild! Think private preschool program and programming for the wider community. Open play hours in an engaging play environment sure to engage kids in meaningful play giving parents an opportunity to step back and relax. We'll offer facilitated playgroups like we are offering now. The backbone of it all will be a high quality, reggio-inspired preschool where children's play is taken seriously, documented and reflected back to them in their environment. In all programming, we'll connect with each other and local businesses in an effort to create a genuine community in Mountlake Terrace and the surrounding areas. Big hands and little hands, together in play. I love to curate the play invitations that allow children to lead their play with a strong sense of competence and independence while also creating moments that may require a helping hand. I love prompting children to try something themselves first, then ask a friend and then a grown up when they might be stuck in something. Wonder and Wild is a place to learn with and from each other through play!
