This mixed media illustration features a variety of species from the Pacific Northwest and is based off of Spectrograms, the visual depiction of bird sounds. The species are pacific wren, Townsend’s warbler, chestnut backed chickadee, steller’s jay, black oystercatcher, Anna’s hummingbird, and spotted owl.
