DADU Done Right

this is a regular schooner, which is a preapproved plan with the city of Seattle. With just a few simple modifications and tweaks this preapproved plan becomes a full two bed two bath thousand square-foot home that fits perfectly in most backyards. By adding a few simple design tweaks so we can keep the cost affordable while delivering it stunning product.

We reimagined what a DADU could be in Seattle. We imagined a buyer who wanted a luxury home, but didn’t need a big space. They would appreciate high end finishes versus low end builder grade. They would enjoy a large maintenance free yard while home, in a quiet neighborhood, but remain close to the action of Ballard and greenwood. The result turned out better than we imagined.

The matte tricorn black finish with peppercorn grey satin accents turned out great. The design of the shed roof let’s light poor into the vaulted ceiling as the sun travels East to West. Very happy with the finished product. More at NorthRidgeReserve.com
