The Cascade Symphony Orchestra continues its 2025-26 season at the Edmonds Center for the Arts on Monday, March 9, at 7:30pm, performing music by Elgar, Herold, Brahms and Mahler with Brahms Double Concerto.
The stunning duo, twin sisters and Seattle Symphony members, Jacqueline and Katherine Audas, join Cascade Symphony as soloists in Brahms’ magnificent Double Concerto for violin and cello. Both earned degrees from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and have appeared with major orchestras and music festivals on four continents.
The concert begins with Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 3 and concludes with the lush Langsam movement from Gustav Mahler’s Third Symphony. Also on the program is the Overture to the opera, Zampa, by 19th century French composer, Ferdinand Hérold, a delightful light classical work.
We hope to see you there!
