Please don't tell any provider "they're the expert" as if they can read minds.. because that's when, unfortunately, someone will take that opportunity to tell you all the great, and expensive, treatments you "need".. (hint for those who haven't heard met me before.. I don't like that word.. 😑)

Still, you do not need to know the treatment name before you come in.. just a rough idea of what you're going for. Our conversation will move it from there.

As you can see.. one of my favorite parts of the appointment.. 🥰

Seeing someone happy, and not feeling taken for a ride.

I don't, and won't, upsell anyone on something they don't "need".

Yet and still, stories and stories from patients I've had tell me there are plenty of places that almost can't stop themselves from doin' it though.

It might not be the best business model, but.. I'll keep doing my best to keep the lights on and my cats fed nonetheless.

A better first visit should leave you with less confusion, not more.

The goal is to sort the concern, talk through reasonable options, and decide what fits your timing, comfort, anatomy, and priorities.

Sometimes that means treatment.

Sometimes it means waiting.

Sometimes it means choosing a totally different starting point than you expected.

That is the value of a plan.
