Adopt Max!

Max is a 1 yr old heeler x golden retriever. He’s such an awesome dog! Max is in foster with us (we are dog trainers— Balanced K9ines) and he’s looking for his forever home!

✅ He has a lot of energy— would do fantastic with an active family. He would LOVE to hike or go to the beach with you!
✅ He loves people and dogs!
✅ He walks well on leash!
✅ Crate and potty trained
✅ Enjoys running and playing with you!
✅ He doesn’t have any reactivity issues that we have seen so far.
✅ Treadmill trained
✅ Neutered
✅ Affectionate and smart

Overall he will be an awesome dog for the right person. He has already gone through some training with us. His foster is actively training him and maintaining structure. He needs someone who is active, capable of being firm when needed, and willing to continue/maintain his training.

Please contact [email protected] if you’d like to know more about him! Please share if you’d can! Lets help Max find the home he deserves 🙏

Help us welcome this little guy into our pack!

Wow! This crazy getting him. Yet another husky that we have found.

We definitely were not looking to get another dog, and certainly not a puppy.

As we were making our way over to our cabin we stopped at a place off the highway. After we were done I was loading the dogs in the truck and I looked and said “omg Johnny look!!” I seriously thought I saw a wolf puppy 😂

I quickly put Ruby and Axel away. Johnny approached with Katana. The puppy reacted great towards them—neutral. Johnny put a slip lead on him and we looked around for the owners.

There was no one in any cars or outside. So I went and asked someone who worked inside and they asked, “is it a husky?”
I said, “yes”.
They quickly responded “take it!”

I was totally thrown off by that response. I asked why and apparently there are these small homes right by them. One of them owns four adult huskies and all of them are tied up to trees. They had a litter (maybe more?) and the pups get out. This was clearly not the first time.

When we found the pup he was a few hundred feet away from the highway. He could have easily gotten killed.

I called my dad and he let us rescue him and take him back home. As time went on we found out the tip of his ear was cut off, he had a gash on one of his legs, and for whatever reason the people cut his whiskers 😳

He was definitely underweight for a pup and his stools… well, weren’t healthy 😬

We are super blessed to have this little guy in our pack!! His temperament is perfect and will make a great addition. We already are learning SO much from him. This little guy was certainly given to us from God ❤️
