Due to the Winter Storm Warning, the heightened state of emergency, and the forecasted impacts on travel and safety, the Oklahoma City Home + Garden Show has been rescheduled to next weekend: January 30 – February 1, 2026.

Tickets already purchased will be honored for the rescheduled dates, January 30 – February 1, 2026, or may be used for the OKC Home + Outdoor Living Show, March 27–29, 2026.

This retaining wall project in Yukon, Oklahoma was designed and built to address critical drainage challenges while enhancing the overall appearance of the property. The primary goal was to divert surface and subsurface water away from the home, protecting the foundation and preventing long-term moisture damage. To accomplish this, we constructed a durable retaining wall system paired with subterranean drain lines, ensuring proper water flow and reliable drainage even during heavy rainfall.
The retaining wall not only stabilizes the grade but also guides runoff safely away from the structure, reducing erosion and eliminating standing water issues. By integrating underground drainage, we created a comprehensive solution that improves both functionality and longevity of the landscape and surrounding structures.
While resolving these site issues, we also focused on aesthetics. The project includes a thoughtfully designed landscape bed that transforms a once-problematic area into an attractive focal point. We selected low-maintenance plantings that thrive in Oklahoma’s climate and provide year-round visual interest, offering texture, color, and seasonal variation without excessive upkeep.
This project demonstrates Havenscapes’ commitment to blending engineering solutions with landscape design, delivering results that are both practical and visually appealing. The finished space not only protects the home but also adds value and curb appeal, creating a landscape that is functional, sustainable, and beautiful.
