Metuchen Democrats

At this Monday's meeting, the Borough Council approved a resolution that would prohibit the Borough of Metuchen from assisting, facilitating or cooperating with federal, state or local government entities regarding civil immigration enforcement using Borough of Metuchen owned property or resources, unless pursuant to a valid judicial warrant, judicial order or otherwise authorized by law. This policy follows the Governor’s executive order and the County’s similar resolution.

This resolution reflects the Council's interest in prioritizing public safety and quality of life for all of our residents, workers, and visitors.
